Navy Seal Swim
Rhonda participated in the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 Navy SEAL Swim in the Hudson River — alongside 150 active & veteran Navy SEALs. Rhonda was the second female to complete the full swim, and she was one of the first in the water in 2021. She is the only female to complete the swim 4 years in a row.
The event honors “our military veterans, their families, and all of those who died during 9/11 and the wars that followed that fateful day.
Helping Veterans and First Responders is close to Rhonda’s heart. Her Dad served in the Vietnam War and died from Agent Orange. Her grandfather served in World War II.
Her mentor is also a Veteran who has served in several wars as a 4 star General. Swimming with the Navy SEALs in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 she continues to be a highlight for Rhonda to give back as a Patriot.
Along the route, the SEALs stop at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to perform 100 push ups in honor of America’s liberties, and 22 pull ups in recognition of 22 veterans who commit suicide every day. The event concludes in lower Manhattan to honor the victims of 9/11 and all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country in the wars that followed.” Photos courtesy of the GI Go Fund.
In 2024, the money raised went to the Navy SEAL Foundation to help families in need. The goal was $250,000 and over $632,000 was raised.

I believe as a patriot, giving back is so important.
New York City, it’s to lead by example. With everything these gentlemen and women have done for our world, it’s time we showed up for them. We need to look out for each other!
