USTM
In October 2022, Rhonda was inducted in India as the Global STEM Ambassador by Meghalaya Chief Minister along with other dignitaries and the Chancellor of the University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM). The University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya is the first State Private University in the entire Northeast India.
“I have been spending time in India over the past 25 years, and this culture is very special to me… I cannot wait to take your spirit back all around the world, and it’s a lesson for the world to learn how you are achieving these values of universal integration and brotherhood.”
USTM also named a new Rhonda Vetere Biodiversity Park for her sustainability work around the globe, and she commissioned the ground breaking ceremony for the USTM I Can I Will Academy in Meghalaya, India. Rhonda shared, “The Biodiversity Park is spectacular with a natural lake and animals that we will be providing additional education studies. For those that know me, know I love nature and animals — this was truly an honor to have this dedication.”
